I seem to be having a few problems with LNAs. I noticed that I was not getting any signals from the antenna. On investigation I found the SPF5189Z module and the GPIO labs module went noisy then stopped working all together. I presume it is some sort of static problem. In my opinion the SPF5189Z modules are not suitable and have replaced them with Nooelec LANA which seem to work very well.
